  • December 1st, 2008. International Workshop on Enabling Service Business Ecosystems (ESBE ’08)

The Workshop will take place in Sydney, Australia. It is co-located with the International Conference on Service Oriented Computing (ICSOC) 2008. There is a call for papers open attached to the Workshop.

On Thursday November 6th, the Parallel Session III (Eris@ Focus session III at 16h30) is named ‘Digital Ecosystems and Regional Development’ (see Conference Programme here). The event is co-organised by Eris@.

  • October 7th-8th, 2008 OPAALS 2008: the 2nd International OPAALS Conference on Digital Ecosystems.

The 2nd International Conference on Open Philosophies for Associative Autopoietic Digital Ecosystems (OPAALS) will take place in Tampere, Finland. The theme of the conference is ‘Interdisciplinary Digital Ecosystems Research’ and the associated fields related to Social Science, Computer Science, and Natural Science.The OPAALS 2008 conference is organised in association with the MindTrek conference.   • September 25th – 27th, 2008. European Information Society Conference (EISCO 2008).

The Conference will take place in Castel dell’Ovo in Naples, Italy. On Thursday 25th, the First Session is dedicated to Digital Ecosystems, under a session named ‘Innovation models and ecosystems to boost modernisation and economic growth in the Territory’ (see Programme here). The event is organised in collaboration with the Eris@.

  • September 18th, 2008. Workshop ‘Linkages between the FP7, CIP and Structural Funds’ ICT based regional innovation – 2nd Meeting

Event organised by Eris@. The event will take place in Brussels. Attendance is free of charge. The aim of the Workshop is to learn more about the European Union’s approach to these issues and the ways in which an integrated approach is being adopted towards RTD, deployment and ICT investment, and to find out about the hoped-for synergies sought between the main funding instruments (FP, CIP and Structural Funds.
